We are almost to the end of the 2019 INKTOBER Challenge
I enjoy joining in on the INKTOBER challenges (even though I don’t do them every year). They are a refreshing way to get your brain into art mode and generate some ideas for later paintings, or just to explore ideas that you wouldn’t normally spend time on.
This year I have used most of the prompts to generate drawings strictly from memory/imagination, with the exception so far of one drawing that I did while looking at an actual object and the other from looking at one of my photos.
Using prompts gives you practice, and can generate new ideas. This year, so far, my challenge drawings have gone into two sketchbooks - a Fabriano Sketch 5 3/4” x 8 1/4” and a Fabriano Black Drawing book 6” x 6.” The ink pens have been Aen Art glitter gel pens, and Sakura Pigma Micron, Graphic, and Brush pen (black).
Today’s challenge #25:
Working on INKTOBER has gotten me back into to working with Procreate digital and with some of my watercolor as well.
